What is it?

A Dutch saying: 'A promise is a promise.' When I commit to something — a deadline, a feature, a price — I keep my word. No faceless agency where nobody feels responsible. You talk to the person writing the code. If there's a problem, I own it.

Why does it matter?

Most software projects fail because nobody is accountable. I'm a single person who takes full responsibility. If I say I'll deliver in two weeks, I deliver in two weeks. If something changes, I tell you immediately — no excuses, no hiding.
